Full renovation and structural improvements: a home with history, reborn. The biggest challenge of this project was the age of the building, which called for careful structural work before the spaces could be redistributed. The aim was clear: more space and more light, while bringing a disused loft back into use. To do this, we reinforced the existing structure and adapted the floor slab to fit a spiral staircase made entirely to measure. Finally, the original timber beams and part of the brick walls were restored and left exposed, giving the home a unique character and plenty of personality.
