How we transformed a 34 m² flat into a spacious, bright and connected space. In this 34 m² project, the biggest challenge was optimising every centimetre to maximise the sense of space and light. The key to success lay in a strategic layout change: we removed the hallway and separate kitchen, fully integrating them into an open-plan living-dining room. We also extended the living area towards the terrace, allowing natural light to flood the entire home. For the interior design and finishes, we implemented key solutions: • Architectural lighting: We designed recessed LED strip channels near the walls to create a wall-wash effect that adds depth and warmth. • Optimised bathroom: We replaced the old bath with a shower tray and installed more functional sanitaryware to gain visual space and ease of movement. • Modern materials: We updated the wall and floor tiles with contemporary coverings, achieving a clean, modern aesthetic.
